Rebates

Medicare Rebates

Clients who have obtained a Mental Health Care Plan from their General Practitioner are currently eligible for a rebate for 20 sessions per calendar year. In such cases, clients will be charged the standard rate of $240 per session, and your rebate of $131.65 will be deposited back into your bank account by Medicare (out-of-pocket $108.35). It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that their Mental Health Care Plan is up to date and renewed as required.

Private Health

Clients may be eligible to have a portion of their session fee reimbursed through their Private Health Fund, depending on the level of their cover. For more information regarding this possibility, it is best to contact your Private Health Fund directly.
