Emma is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working in private practice, inpatient and outpatient mental health, and crisis responding. She is also experienced in the facilitation of Insight Meditation Retreats for adolescents, as well as the delivery of Triple P Positive Parenting skills in both group and individual settings.
In addition to her therapeutic work, Emma has worked as a sessional academic teaching Undergraduate Psychology, and has previously worked in research for the Greater Good Science Centre (UC Berkeley) and the Wellbeing Institute for Neuroscience and Contemplative Wisdom (California). The focus of her research was on the intra-individual factors associated with the development of emotional intelligence and resilience.
Emma completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons) and Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is recognised as a provider of Psychological Services under Medicare. Emma is also a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
